Synaptic GTK3 looks ok with MediterraneanNight, but when Synaptic is working (e.g.: from the menu, select Settings > Repositories, the window looks quite bad - screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/bXutXyi.png

Tested under Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail.

And by the way, the Sync and Bluetooth indicator switches bug still occurs in Raring. - Feb 24 2013

In Ubuntu 13.04, MediterraneanNight, MediterraneanNightDarkest and MediterraneanLightDarkest use white/light tabs in Gedit (maybe other places too) which makes the tab title unreadable. This does not occur with the other themes.

It only happens with the now (in Raring) default Sync Menu and the new Bluetooth indicator (but with this indicator, only on mouse over) which has replaced the old Bluetooth indicator hack that was available in Ubuntu 12.10: http://www.webupd8.org/2013/02/ubuntu-1304-raring-ringtail-changes.html - Feb 12 2013

The theme is beautiful, but please fix the theme lag. When switching from a window to another one... it takes ages before the theme is updated. And it's not done at once either: some parts are painted before others... it looks terrible! - Dec 16 2012

I've managed to get it to build, after adding these: libglib2.0-dev, libgdk-pixbuf2.0-dev, libxml2-utils, libgtk-3-bin, librsvg2-dev and libgtk-3-dev to build-depends - Dec 11 2012

I don't need the deb, launchpad needs to built it successfully, which it doesn't even though it used to work until today :)

There's nothing I can do then, I'll have to remove it. - Dec 11 2012

I've also had to add "libgdk-pixbuf2.0-dev" as build dependency or else it would fail to build with another error. - Dec 11 2012

Thanks for the update! There are some bugs though:

- screenshot taken in GS: for GTK 2 applications, there titlebar and GTK theme don't have the same colour like for GTK3 apps - screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/3Hb4l.png (the one in the back is GTK2)

- there's a white line under the indicators in the classic GNOME 3 session - screenshots: http://i.imgur.com/Xr4XV.png and http://i.imgur.com/UKS6Y.png

- part of the titlebar seems to have a different gradient under Unity, see this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/Kb3tR.png and look close - Dec 01 2012
Potenza

I'd like to report a bug that occurs in Ubuntu 12.10 (with Unity): the power icon is missing under /usr/share/icons/Potenza/22x22/status

I've fixed it by copying the corresponding Faenza icons: system-devices-panel.png, system-devices-panel-alert.png and system-devices-panel-informations.png

Also, would it be possible to release a variant for dark panels as well? Because the current theme only works for light panels so it doesn't work with the default GNOME Shell theme or the default Ubuntu theme (Ambiance).

Thanks! - Dec 01 2012

Extended Places Menu Extension

Without this file, Nautilus doesn't open from the Extended Places Menu. But I've tried renaming it to org.freedesktop.policykit.pkexec.nautilus-run.policy and it works just fine, at least in Ubuntu. - Oct 26 2011

By the way, in the readme, you say that "org.freedesktop.policykit.pkexec.policy" might exist already on the system. In that case, I can't merge your file with the original file through the .deb. So can I rename this file (does renaming it affects running Nautilus as root)? - Oct 26 2011

Extended Places Menu Extension

I have a suggestion: if Nautilus is not set to draw the desktop, running Nautilus as root changes the desktop background to the root wallpaper.

To fix this, you could use this in the "nautilus-root" file:
pkexec /usr/bin/nautilus --no-desktop /

And I also have a question: I would like to upload this to the WebUpd8 GNOME3 PPA but there's no license... I assume it uses the same license as the original Places Menu extension, right?

Thanks! - Oct 26 2011

Nautilus Facebook Uploader

Nautilus Scripts by RishavT 20 comments

The deb is quite buggy:

rm: cannot remove `/usr/bin/nfuploader': No such file or directory
/home/andrei/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/Upload To Facebook
ls: cannot access /home/lost+found/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/Upload To Facebook: No such file or directory
touch: cannot touch `/home/lost+found/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/Upload To Facebook': No such file or directory
Processing triggers for menu ...

You shouldn't try to remove /usr/bin/nfuploaderm the .deb should replace that on its own.

I'm guessing "lost+found" was supposed to be my username? Check out my .deb and how I've managed to write stuff in the user home directory (and it works): https://launchpad.net/~nilarimogard/+archive/webupd8/+files/dropbox-share_0.3.9-1~webupd8~maverick.tar.gz - Mar 16 2011
