The icons came from the Windows Vista 7 icon theme, including the volume control. I got the Ubuntu icon from a start button package somewhere from here on gnome-look. I replaced the disto-icon with that one. - May 21 2009

It's probably a theme engine problem. It uses the Ubuntu-Looks theme engine. I updated to a new version of this theme today. I wish I would have seen this post earlier, but I really forgot about this theme. - May 09 2009

What version of Ubuntu are you using? Ubuntu desktop should include Ubuntulooks. I'm using LinuxMint 6 which is based on Ubuntu 8.10 and have no problems at all. It came already installed. I wouldn't call this a theme problem, sounds more like a set up problem. - Mar 24 2009

I love your theme. I have modified it a bit to make the menus and menu bars more color coordinated with the panel. I also modified the panel (from your original theme) so that it can be made larger without the over lapping and still keep the top gradient. Here is a link to my Screen shot showing the problem with the KDE style panel. After looking through the theme package I noticed that the panel image is transparent. Could that be the problem?

I figured out how to change the panel bar, but all I get is a blank looking bar instead of the old KDE style. This theme also cause the older moomex windows border to turn all white. I love the older windows border. Any way to fix this or maybe post one of the older packages that contain only the KDE bar? - Feb 02 2009

Do you know how to package a theme. If not all you have to do is go to home/username/.themes. You will have to unhide the folder using control+H. After you find it you can right click on the folder and select create archive. Choose the .tar.gz compression then upload it here. If the theme is not locate there it will be in usr/share/themes. - Nov 06 2008
