Correction, it seems to put it on my system settings window for some reason, but none of my other windows are afflicted.

I get this really ugly black border on my active windows, and it expands to "envelop" my window buttons, but I can't find in any of the configurators a way to get rid of this hideous thing. Help?

It's behaving itself for now. (Should be noted that the RGBA support never gives me problems. Didn't even know Qt was capable of it.)

I use kwin. I don't see the point in using Compiz when Kwin is already an excellent compositor.
Another question... where is the bespin icon theme? I can't find it, but isn't it supposed to come with?

If it actually let me look at the window decoration settings while the style was applied I wouldn't be coming on here saying it didn't. So no, no it doesn't. Please do not tell me something does work when in fact, it very clearly and very obviously doesn't.
I ran that command and there was no output. And nothing happened.
I use Arch, big money says gtk-qt is already the latest version. Not using it at all is not an option, my GTK apps MUST blend in or Bespin is worthless to me. And so far this is the only style gtk-qt has any issue with. Fortunately, checking that box fixed GTK apps refusing to launch.
Did you not read what I said? When I actually CHANGED the setting on KWIN it took no effect. I could choose whatever color I wanted it'd still carry on using whatever color it likes. No matter what style I used for my widgets.
Sort of both. I built it myself from an AUR PKGBUILD. According to yaourt it's build 962. You know, this was a simple yes or no question. Is this a pre-rtm, yes or no? It sure doesn't work like any final version. - Jan 05 2010

A lot, but one specific example is The window decoration settings will NOT display at all so long as Bespin is on.
By explode I mean they refuse to launch. GTK apps that are currently running are fine simply because that engine doesn't update existing windows.
I can't change the decorator colors at all. I mean, I can change the colors but the decoration never changes to their colors no matter what.
I know there's more, but I can't remember.
Is this a beta or something? It looks fantastic but it has several kludged about it that keep me from using it as my regular theme. - Jan 04 2010

I have a question, is bespin still under heavy development? It has a few bugs like... some system settings dialogs don't render properly, GTK+ apps explode when trying to launch when they use the gtk-qt-engine, and the like.

So, I don't see the background image in the tarball or anything? How do I get that, since it's not showing up on my windows.

Source code would be nice for those who don't use anything Debian-based like Ubuntu.
I use Arch, thus Debian packages are useless to me, but a simple source tarball could result in me making a PKGBUILD on the AUR so Arch users can use this. - Nov 14 2010

Is that Cairo Dock?

I just updated to 1.6.1, but I still see that my titlebar opacity is screwed up even after logging out and back in.
This is after setting the 100% opacity so that the window background effects take hold.
Should be noted the side and bottom border opacity is fine, but the titlebar is still more opaque than it should be.
Is there something wrong in my settings (My Window background opacity is 50%.)?
Also, how do I set up a striped background on my window? I like how it looks. - Sep 14 2010

Well, that script fixed the folders okay. But the arrows are still broken. And those are a little more important.
Can you tell me a way to get my arrows working with this theme? - Apr 28 2010

Does this have MPD support? That would be awesome.

I'm confused. There's only the color scheme file there. Where's the rest?

I gotta vote this one down.
1. There should be NO REASON, none whatsoever, for a new user to be created for a simple KDE themepack. Fix this now.
2. Not everyone is in a Debian/Ubuntu centric world. Leave those parts out of your install script PLEASE.
3. Actually, better yet: Leave out the stupid install script altogether. And instead, make a simple archive filled with all the KDE themes/schemes compatible with the actual settings managers. Loads less trouble for everyone that way. Change your readme into an informative HOWTO on how to apply these themes and settings.
4. I don't know about the rest of the commentors but I'm very iffie about you copying copyrighted proprietary material for this themepack.
5. Is there a QtCurve theme for this somewhere to actually get window widgets looking like Win7? I couldn't find it in any of those archives.
6. That deKorator theme is not very faithful. I ended up switching to a different one.
7. Torrents are a very lame way to distribute your content. I can't speak for the rest of Freedesktop, but I sure as heck don't like torrents. Find a host for your files.
8. Seriously. Creating a whole new user for the theme pack? What the heck are you thinking?
Sadly I can find no other Win7-style themes to try, otherwise I'd gladly pass this broken one up. - Dec 10 2009
