My only recommendation is to let use the picture style. After making multiple accounts for testing I tend to forget the exact same username. When we have pictures, we scroll to that username and we only have to enter our password.
The text should stay, it does look cool, just add the image style!
Thanks - Nov 01 2020

You should try adding the key hints like "c" for command prompt, etc. Some glow would look too! - Oct 28 2020

Eveything is amazing!
My only suggestion is to have a better looking scifi font. Some words are hard to read and the upper case letter D is a bit annoying.
Cheers! - Oct 28 2020
I'm a huge fan of Sci-Fi concepts so I really like what you did!
I tested both versions but didn't see any major changes but font size.
I think you should port this concept for Breeze and/or Maui SDDM because those versions allow us to use pictures. Sometimes I create multiple users for testing and after some months of inactivity I tend to forget the exact same username. In this concept of yours, we have to enter our username manually. Using Breeze/Maui we only have to worry about entering password.
Well, that's my humble opinion. I'm also doing some Sci-Fi on my spare time. Are you thinking of doing Sci-fi icons too? - Oct 14 2020

Ubuntu-based Troubleshooting:
1) kdebase-workspace is outdated, download "kdebase-runtime" instead.
2) kf5widgetsaddons can be found as "libkf5widgetsaddons-dev"
3) kdecoration2 is "libkdecorations2-dev"
4) I had Cairo installed but was giving errors because of cairo.h, install "libcairo2-dev"
Summary:
$ sudo apt install libglib2.0-0 kdebase-runtime libkf5widgetsaddons-dev libkdecorations2-dev libkdecorations2-5v5 libkdecorations2private5v5 libkdecore5 libcairo2-dev
