I have two suggestions:
1. If I maximize I a window it overlaps the panel. Is it possible to change that?
2. The way of adding an application is not so nice. Maybe it would be easier if you would use the application chooser instead of the file chooser. - Jul 30 2009

thanks for your feedback.
1.font colour settings
The themes can already do that. But maybe I will add a function to set up this options by your self.

2.next playing song

--------------------------
3.working with Esc key to quit
Good idea
--------------------------
4.text and cover position settings
see 1.
--------------------------
5.play icon not changing to pause icon when paused
Will be available in the next version

6.pausing the screen-saver when waheela is working?

Have you run cmake in the right directory (servicemenu not servicemenu/src)?
Maybe it helps if you install automake1.9.

If the installation doesn't work can you check if the downloaded tar file is in the directory /home/USERNAME/.kde4/share/apps/kcm_sm/downloads.

your programm looks really great, but unfortunately it doesnt run on my system (Debian sid with kde from experimentall).
The compiling and installation of packagekit 2.2 and kpackagekit was running without problems. But if I click on "Add and Remove Software" the application crashes. Maybe its a packagekit problem. If i run the command packagekitd as root i got the following output:
TI:05:45:21 TH:0x807a3e8 FI:pk-main.c FN:main,266
- cannot continue, backend invalid

Yes, for the install and remove of packages the program uses direct the debian command apt-get.
> just have one tiny complaint: The left column (Categories) doesn't honor the color scheme's setting for "Alternate background in lists," which makes it hard to use with color schemes that use light test.
I will try to fix this problem.
> Any plans on extending it to the point of Adept Installer (i.e., so every package that has a .desktop file is listed)?
Actually it works in the same way like adept. If you want to add programs go to folder /usr/share/kappstarter.
If you think there are missing programs you can also post them here and will add them. - Apr 14 2008

a can not install message!
One my computer the install function of Gedebi doesn't work for any package. Please try to install kdpkg with the dpkg command on the console. - Mar 18 2008

Yes, but this a program for debian and debian based distros.
>python-kde is also installed with KDE :-)
You can install kde without python-kde.
>They don't take much space.
Just the package python-kde needs 50mb. E.g. the distro sidux doesn't support python out of the box.
In addition imho it's an advantage to use the debian core tools. - Mar 13 2008

You can save space and use the debian core tools (like dpkg and apt-get)
>Your app have other dependencies, like a compiler or the KDE libs, and you don't speak about them.
If you download the binary debian package you don't need the compiler. And if you have installed KDE you have the kde libs already installed.
But in general this point is not so important. - Mar 12 2008
