Adwaita Cupertino is the only one I've seen that looks as intended in Ubuntu 12.04. The only problem with that theme is the GNOME Fallback Panel, which no theme has been able to theme correctly. It has something to do with the Indicator applet. - Mar 20 2012
It works now. The files are all present and accounted for! The only problem now is Ubuntu 12.04. It kind of breaks GTK3 themes, yours included. - Mar 17 2012
I got several errors when trying to extract the files from the archive. The Cinnamon, GTK3 and Unity folders do not contain any files. - Mar 16 2012

I haven't worked on this theme regularly for over two years. Every time I sit down to work on it, I get distracted by real-life stuff like work and family. Add to that the fact I haven't regularly used Linux in almost a year now. In that time, the Murrine theme engine has updated, so this theme may not even work anymore. Also in that time, GNOME 3 has been released and I don't even know where to begin with that. I cannot guarantee a future release of Macchiato and for this I am sorry. Well, I don't use Thunderbird, so I don't know how to fix the issues with it.

However, I downloaded and installed Thunderbird 3.0b2 today and my theme seemed to work fine with it. - Apr 20 2009
The menubar and toolbar have stayed the same color, #363330, since I first released it. The only color changes I have made are those to fix bugs, such as toolbar text. - Apr 17 2009

I just upgraded to 0.44 this morning and now DockbarX won't show up in either AWN or Gnome Panel. In AWN, the applet begins to load, but then disappears. In Gnome Panel, the applet loads, but no icons show up. I can access the right-click menu if I guess correctly where the applet is. - Jun 10 2011

In my opinion, the buttons are a bit too shiny. You should reduce the highlightshade_ratio just a tad on the buttons.

Otherwise, this is a fantastic theme!

I enlarged the pixmap for the close button to show you what I mean:

Notice how there is still a border around the button. When this border shows up on an unfocused window, the border doesn't match the titlebar background of the unfocused window.

The best way to fix this would be to remove that border. - May 24 2009
