I was to fast in my previous post:

The problem went away this morning when I installed an updated Python Bindings for KDE4-package from the SuSE KDE 4.8 builds repository. - Oct 13 2012
One of my favorite plasmoids, but since a Python-KDE4 upgrade on SuSE 11.4/KDE 4.8.5 this morning, V2RC2 barfs up with a "RuntimeError: the sip module implements API v9.0 but the PyKDE4.plasma module requires API v8.1" error. Before this upgrade also crashed my plasma desktop with unversioned something errors. - Oct 04 2012

It would seem that unlike previous versions yesterday's 1.26 version is no longer following the KDE colour scheme. I know have black text on a transparant background in this plasmoid, where in all others I have white text. (SuSE 11.4, KDE 4.6.3) - Jun 14 2011
Looking good now. Cheers. - Feb 19 2011

You may wish to change the following in your script for folks who are on rsyslog:

*.=debug |/var/run/interceptor/debug;RSYSLOG_TraditionalFileFormat
*.=info |/var/run/interceptor/info;RSYSLOG_TraditionalFileFormat
*.=notice |/var/run/interceptor/notice;RSYSLOG_TraditionalFileFormat
*.=warning |/var/run/interceptor/warning;RSYSLOG_TraditionalFileFormat
*.=err |/var/run/interceptor/err;RSYSLOG_TraditionalFileFormat
*.=crit |/var/run/interceptor/crit;RSYSLOG_TraditionalFileFormat
*.=alert |/var/run/interceptor/alert;RSYSLOG_TraditionalFileFormat
*.=emerg |/var/run/interceptor /emerg;RSYSLOG_TraditionalFileFormat

This will make the output in Interceptor show up correctly instead of being garbled. Cool app anyway. Keep up the good work.

Just what I needed. May I however suggest to change to black the color of the "Telemeter" label and the fetched result ? White text on a white background does not make for a very readable result. Keep up the good work ! - Apr 08 2011

Thanks for that, but I had already figured that out. The point I was trying to make is that on 3 items in the configuration setup, I'm being thrown an error because the Spanish error message expected is different from the one my English OS (SusE 11.2) is barfing up.

One of the things it causes is that the setup is not accepting my /usr/bin/sh path and instead stays at the default value /bin/sh .

Do you also have an English version ? Although my Spanish is good enough to understand its operation, I'm on an English OS that throws different errors than the ones expected in Spanish when going through the configuration setup.
