Yep, many thanks for the update. Firefox is so damn ugly without this theme. - Jun 08 2012
Since my distro deleted FF 12 from its repositories and only offers FF 13 :-/

(Damn you security updates.) - Jun 06 2012
Add-ons are not plugins ;-) Flash is a plugin. Oxygen KDE is a theme and an add-on.

Hoping to be able to use this with FF9 soon. Just a days without it is already driving me crazy :-) - Dec 22 2011
I updated from 3.3 to 3.4.2 and some websites now have a somewhat broken layout. Screenshot from affected site when using default theme or Oxygen KDE 3.3:

http://i55.tinypic.com/15frb7q.jpg

and when using Oxygen KDE 3.4.2:

Using 64-bit Firefox 5.0 on Gentoo Linux. - Aug 12 2011
Not in dialogs. - Jul 18 2011
Ah, OK. I suppose the issue will be solved when Oxygen-gtk will be drawing native scrollbars :-) - Jul 18 2011
There's a bug with the scrollbars. If you zoom a page (CTRL+MouseWheel or +/- keys) and you have "View->Zoom->Zoom Text Only" disabled, then the scrollbars are being zoomed too. - Jul 18 2011
There are many differences when you customize how Oxygen looks (split vs plain tabs, for example). - Jul 18 2011
Thanks for this theme. It's awesome! Only a minor issue though: The theme conflicts with the oxygen-gtk theme. For example, with the vanilla Firefox theme, oxygen-gtk is able to draw dialog tabs, buttons and other widgets correctly and they look 100% correct like oxygen-qt widgets. This theme overrides that and the widgets don't look 100% native anymore.

Yes, that means that this theme makes Firefox look less like a KDE app in this case because it doesn't let oxygen-gtk to its job! - Jul 14 2011
Chakra Gtk Config - KCM

I'm using this after kcm_gtk which I was using before got abandoned. It works just as well, except for one thing though: the font configuration was better in kcm_gtk. It had a checkbox that said "Use my KDE fonts in Gtk applications". That way, I didn't have to configure the font twice, one for KDE, one for Gtk, or forget to change the Gtk font whenever making changes to the KDE one. Both were linked. - May 13 2011

Thanks for the updated version. I used this a few months back, but the fonts were quite ugly (Air theme, black fonts.) Now I tried it again since I saw a few updates were done, and the black fonts now look very nice!

Thanks for this plasmoid. It's now the weather plasmoid I prefer. - Aug 19 2010
I found a bug. yaWP shows a sun behind clouds in the current weather even though it's midnight (lol :P) Also, the temperature info isn't the same as the info on accuweather.com (I'm using that service in yaWP.)

Screenshot: http://i47.tinypic.com/15wkz2f.png - Jan 22 2010
Thank you very, very much for this plasmoid! The ones that come with KDE for some reason choose to support services that don't offer weather for not-so-popular regions, which means I can't get weather info for where I live. yaWP supports AccuWeather and Google (why on earth don't the KDE ones support Google for heaven's sake, that's just dumb) and both show accurate weather info for my city. - Jan 19 2010

Thanks for this application. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to support cue files? I have a large ape file along with a cue file. There doesn't seem to be a way to create ogg files out of it. - Aug 16 2010

The real shoutcast browser (http or in WinAmp) also have bitrate information. That way I can tell which stations are higher quality. Is it possible for this script to also show the stream bitrate? - Aug 12 2010

Thanks for removing the pop-up. - Aug 07 2010
I uninstalled the script because of this pop-up; It told me once about the time delay, it doesn't need to tell me over and over and over again.

I also don't want to start editing files; that's not user friendly. - Jul 20 2010
There's an annoying pop-up error message *every* time Amarok is started, saying that fetching stations might take some time.

This is quite unacceptable. Can this be disabled? - Jul 16 2010
Btw, a search field would be extremely useful. There are so many stream, it's difficult to find something even if you know what you're looking for. - Aug 21 2009
I can't believe no one commented yet on this superb script! Thank you for writing this. - Aug 21 2009

Well, I can't get it to work :P I did select "Titlebar border" in Menubars->Coloration. - May 19 2010
Is it possible yet to have Gtk QtCurve use the KWin titlebar shade/gradient? - May 19 2010
Unfortunately, doesn't seem to work correctly here. When I choose that option, I get:

http://i42.tinypic.com/2j0fhhd.png - May 04 2010
I see this in the changelog:

"Add option to use kwin titlebar colours as menubar shade."

I can't that option though. How do I enable this? - May 04 2010
Can't seem to be able to do it for Qt/KDE apps. I have enabled the appropriate option in QtCurve's configuration dialog ("Blend titlebar color into background color"), but I get this:

http://i48.tinypic.com/w7lul2.png

For reference, Oxygen looks like this:

http://i50.tinypic.com/4si24p.png

(It uses both a vertical as well as a horizontal gradient at the same time.)

Gtk apps look correctly. I suspect due to KWin disabling gradient effects for some common Gtk apps. Here's Thunderbird 3:

http://i50.tinypic.com/121ehia.png - Feb 15 2010
Is there a way to make QtCurve blend nicely with the KWin colors (like Oxygen does)? For example, the window titlebar is a different color than the rest of the window and looks separated. - Feb 15 2010
OpenOffice 3.1.1 beta2 (internal build number is "3.1.0.99.2") offers full KDE4 support. I just installed it and works OK:

Any plans to do rounded menus (Oxygen-style)? :P - Jun 25 2009
Thunderbird 3 has the same problem as Firefox 3.5 (they're both based on Xulrunner 1.9.1 so that's to be expected), namely the configuration dialog doesn't work. I have to edit .thunderbird/my_profile/chrome/userChrome.css and remove the button-swap entry for it to work. But when I do this, QtCurve will put the entry back again later :P - Jun 12 2009
PS:

The bigger problem here is that deleting that line completely and letting Qt use the default style (which is QFrame::LineEditPanel | QFrame::Sunken) also triggers the bug. That means every Qt 3 application using margins will probably look wrong :P - Jun 11 2009
I've found the problem. Yes, QTads 1.8 does not trigger the glitch because it calls:

QTextEdit::setFrameStyle(QFrame::Box | QFrame::Plain);

(src/qtadsgamewindow.cc, line 72.)

In QTads 1.9 (not released yet) I've changed that to:

QTextEdit::setFrameStyle(QFrame::LineEditPanel | QFrame::Plain);

in order to get rid of the awful black border around the text window. If you change that line and rebuild, you will see the glitch. - Jun 11 2009
You don't need one, but you can find games here:

http://ifdb.tads.org/search?sortby=ratu&newSortBy.x=5&newSortBy.y=10&searchfor=system%3ATADS

Here's a direct link to one:

http://mirror.ifarchive.org/if-archive/games/competition97/tads/glow/glow.gam

The problem appears after you go into the configuration dialog of QTads, and in the "Formatting" tab choose non-0 left and right margins.

What this does is call QScrollView::setMargins(). The background color is set with QWidget::setPaletteBackgroundColor() (I know because I'm the author of QTads :P) - Jun 11 2009
There's visual bug with colors with Qt 3 apps after upgrading to 0.63.0 or 0.64.0. I had 0.62.7 before that and it was looking OK. Screenshots follow.

0.63.0 and 0.64.0:
http://i43.tinypic.com/11qofg5.png
(Note the wrong color around the QTextEdit widget.)

0.62.7:
http://i44.tinypic.com/osrfcp.png
(The right color is used for the margins of the QTextEdit.)

Note that other styles (Plastique or the Qt3 build-in styles) always look right. Only QtCurve 0.63.0/0.64.0 have this bug.) - Jun 11 2009
Hmm, I've done "rm ~/.config/qtcurve*" and it doesn't crash anymore. I would send you those files by email but you don't have your email address listen anywhere. - Jun 10 2009
I was using 0.62.8. Now I've updated to 0.63.0 and Firefox (3.0.10 64-bit) crashes when scrolling up or down with:

(firefox:31571): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_cairo_create: assertion `GDK_IS_DRAWABLE (drawable)' failed

I can't start this. It seems it requires ALSA, which I don't have. KDE 4's Phonon works fine here (it's configured to use OSS4). - Feb 09 2010
