Great appl. I love it very much. I really hope this will develop in a full-fledged application.
One bug: When I select on Scan, it displays the window with Scan results. Now, if I resize the scan results window - the content is not resized to fit the new window size. Just a minor issue.

I observed a behavior which seems to be a bug. I have two batteries in my thinkpad. I configured kthinkbat such that it shows individual displays for each battery. That seems to work. However when I connect and disconnect the AC power, only one battery's yellow indicator for AC power connectivity turns off and on. This becomes very confusing. I think both batteries yellow indicators should go off and on to indicate that AC is not connected.

Really cool app!
I am wondering why the tab bar (with different konsole titles) is not the start KDE tab bar. It would make it look more consistent with the rest of the desktop (though a bit "uncool").
Also, It would be great if there was an option to make the tab bar non-transparent. I do not like to use transparency and it would be good if it used the standard window background/foreground colors.

i think kbfx needs to have a SVG image for the "Start/Launch" image. This is because this will make it possible for a user to resize kicker to any size and still use the same image. Currently, only a particular size of kicker must be kept to make the icon look nice for a particular image.

I uninstalled 1.2.4 and installed 1.3 beta2. My old collection migrated fine. I just experienced a few problems. E.g. lyrics and wiki did not work for me. Lyrics worked fine previously.

1. Use the Title blend color for button background. I like a windec in which the buttons are prominent (like in AKDC Soft Crystal). By making it configurable with the blend color or other how, one can get whatever look they want.
2. Help windec button is not available. A big no-no in my book.

Cursors by pinux 77 comments
I liked these cursors and am using them right now. However, it seems to me that the arrows are slightly smaller on the left half than the right half. Is that intended or is it just me?

Lipstik style has a background strip for icons in the menus. This strip is odd in different menus.
1. If the menu has icons then they are not centered in the strip. The icons are touching the right border of this strip giving a very weird look.
2. If the menu does not have any icons. The text is written over the strip. Very ugly.
I have considered removing the strip at all but I think it is a good usability improvement and would like to keep it.
Osho - Dec 24 2004
First of all, awesome merge of all the new features!! It is definitely THE plastik-derivative right now.
Just one comment about the menu stripe for icons (dotnet-style). Is it possible to use a color other than highlight for the background of the strip?

I really wish that lipstik, PlastikQ, Krish etc. all are combined together to make a really cool style.

Osho - Nov 30 2004
I posted this in PlastikQ comments as well.. it would be great if PlastikQ and Lipstik could be combined and evolved together..and then try to get these changes in the official Plastik style.
As plastik is now the default style in KDE CVS HEAD and probably the most likely default style for KDE 4.0 - this is a great way to have this work utilized by millions of people.
Osho - Nov 28 2004
Great improvements. Some of them address exactly what I dislike about Plastik.
1. The new look of the scrollbar dots is better than the old one. It seems to me that the dots are not centered. They are more on the left side. Maybe there could be two columns of the dots.
2. The rectangle around default button texts and current tab title text is better than the last one but I think rectangle is not the right way to highlight them. How about increasing the border width of the default button ? If the rectangle has to be kept then at least keep the rectangle closer to the boundary of the widget rather than closer to the text.

1. The scrollbar is highlighted only when the relevant widget is in focus. I would like it to be highlighted all the time - is there an option for that?
2. Sometimes the widget does not need scrollbar (like the comment box on kde-look.org in which I am typing right now) but the scrollbar is still shown - but only the scrollbar background is shown instead of the full scrollbar occupying the entire scrollbar area.

1. Toolbars and Menus don't have stippled background. Toolbars have flat gray background while Menus have flat background of the select color.
2. Scrollbars sliders are always discolored. Baghira works such that when the widget with the scrollbar has focus, the schrollbar slider becomes colored and when it loses focus, the slider loses focus. I find that all scrollbars are always discolored in gtk applications.
3. Scroolbar slider at the bottom (or right for horizontal scrollbar) covers the up arrow (or the left arrow) button. It should stop before this.

KDE 3.x Window Decorations by jrch2k 357 comments
I love Corona style, but I have some issues with it.
1. The colors of the title bar and the "buttons frame" does not respect the window title color defined in the Colors tab. This is sooooo bad.
2. By default, the help (question mark) icon is not displayed - even when apps specify to use it (like Kcontrol). when, user enables "custom titlebar buttons position", and configure it to have the help icon on the right top corner, it looks really bad.
3. The window frame is toooo think in my opinion. I would like the thickness of the 'button frame" and the thickness of the title frame on the left side configurable. The default titlebar height is fine for me but some may want to modify it.
4. I think the titlebar frame should be colored in "Title bar" color and the "buttons frame" should be colored in Title blend color. Otherwise, Corona really looks out of place in some other color scheme than the "light bluish" one.
Keep up the good work,
thanks,

I like the brushed metal look but I also like how the Shadow Group Boxes "shadows" the group boxes in a darker shade under Aqua look.
Is it possible to Shadow the group boxes in brushed metal mode as well?
