"Darwins theory of relativity"
This is so wrong on so many levels I can't tell if I want to laugh or cry.

I do question whether or not this should be classified under the science category. Even if it's primarily used as a resource guide I don't think science is the right category, maybe the education category is better suited becomes it seems more like a study guide. I'm not trying to be offensive to the author but it may be more popular if moved to a category where people would think to look for it. - Oct 17 2005

I am also an avid Mac user and have found Quicksilver to be one of the best programs I've ever used. This is certainly on the same track.

I am very disappointed to read that development has stopped. Although I realize that KDE 4 will include a built-in search function (presumably much like spotlight for OS X), I find that Katapult (and quicksilver) is much better and faster finding and opening programs and folders. In fact I see a need for both types of programs, so I strongly urge you to move development forward, if possible.

Either way, I want to thank you for making this wonderful program. - Oct 16 2005

This is a great program for keeping track of homebrew recipes. The "style guide" for each style is a thoughtful addition. I was amazed to find honey on the list of malts too.

Thanks so much for your hard work! - Oct 25 2004

Thanks for the update. I'd like to try it out but when I try to untar it, I get this error:
tar: This does not look like a tar archive
tar: Skipping to next header
tar: Read 622 bytes from illtry-note-taker_1.1.tar
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

Was there an error when you tared it? - Sep 11 2004

Nice work! I'm really glad someone did this and I greatly appreciate it. My only beef is that it seems really big, and empty, and kind of plain. Please don't get me wrong; the functionality is fantastic. Maybe if you made it a little smaller. It's the same size as liquid weather but contains 40% of the content. Anyway, thanks for the good work. - Mar 28 2004

Ah, I see. I'll pass that along. Thanks. - Mar 10 2004
What a great app! It works wonderfully with the 2000+ songs on my mp3 player. However, there's one little issue that really bugs me on it and I would guess it would pretty easy to change. Commonly the ID3 tags for the same band will be listed at, for example, both "Afghan Whigs" and "The Afghan Whigs" so that some of the songs are listed under "a" for "afghan" while the the rest are listed under "t" for "The". Is there anyway to have the program ignore the word "the"? It's much easier than chaning tall the ID3 tags.

The one caveat is that you'd probably is to only ignore the first occurence of "the" because any songs by the band called, "The The" might cause some problems.

Thanks. - Mar 07 2004
