Well, eventually I worked out that Ctl+S invokes the settings dialog. Now with icons working, long filenames get truncated instead of wrapped around. Can this be fixed? Also, it always starts maximised which is a bit annoying.

Sorry for late reply but I don't seem to be getting notifications properly. The icon theme is Hycons which is here: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Hycons?content=101767

Just wondering if you've made any packages of qmplay2 yet. If not I'll write a slackbuild over the next week or so.

A very nice player, well done. I've post a quick article on my blog http://hurtleduffield.wordpress.com/2012/10/17/fave-app-of-the-moment-3/ to get it some attention.

Seems like a good start. Would really like to see queue ranks in the download tab. A small suggestion: patch amuledpage.cpp line 121 to m_loggerEdit->appendPlainText(i18n("[KaMule] Logged In"));
Just something that annoyed me on first go. Hope to see some more work on this - a nice way for aMule to be in KDE.

From the author: "The question on their persistence is somehow puzzling as they should be persistent if Poppler 0.20 or higher is used. (Otherwise creation should not be possible at all.) (And after doing "Save copy" of course.)"

I don't speak russian but running the comment through google-translate it seems you are asking about a build for windows.
If anyone wants to attempt to build qpdfview on Windows, the author has sent me instructions on how to do it. Mail me at smithmark347 at gmail dot com and I'll pass on the information.

excellent, just as I was picturing it. Thanks.

Thanks for the link to my openbox theme.

I take your point - just on long sliders the gradient doesn't seem to me strong enough. Picky, picky, picky! Anyway, I'm using it in place of absolute.

They appear flat (to me) on main (large?) windows but appear ok on comboboxes, etc

Good style and I'm using it but the scrollbars don't seem to fit (to my eyes anyhow). Maybe a gradient on the slider or square end-arrows.

Thanks mate. The colour scheme is causing me a few probs - just can't find it again. Its called Karma Darkness and I've pasted a copy here: http://paste2.org/p/1855230. The font is Open Sans http://www.google.com/webfonts/specimen/Open+Sans.
- Jan 06 2012
Glad you like it. If you move it to ~/bin or, as super user, to /usr/bin then you can use it just as mozz.
- Nov 02 2011
No I'm not good enough to make artwork like that. Its from the set of wallpapers for Gnome 3 on the Fedora 16 live CD.
- Nov 02 2011
Thanks. It was your comment about my original script that got me started on this one.
- Oct 31 2011
Thanks. Good to know its useful.

Thanks for the feedback. Might look at writing a GUI for it as well if there's any interest.

Hey man, well done on the adwaita port - hope this openbox is OK. Not sure about the buttons. Might update soon plus a tint2 config I made for Blue Suede.

http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Save+cached+video?content=146399 - Oct 30 2011
Written a script (not a function) to copy video to your home directory. Usage "mozz [filename]" will copy the cached video to $HOME/flvs/filename.flv.
- Oct 30 2011
This was just a 90 second hack very early this morning. It is, like me, ugly but very effective.
- Oct 29 2011
What I've written is the simplest and quickest (in execution) lookup for lsof. So my original function is still the best version of this quick hack.
- Oct 29 2011
And that would leave $PATH set with /usr/sbin in it which is not what I would want.
- Oct 29 2011
Fair enough, but I wanted to check explicitly because, for example, /usr/sbin is not in my users' $PATH so 'which' would not work here.
- Oct 29 2011
Added the least bit of error checking for a less brain-dead script.
- Oct 28 2011
Also, what was the need to change line 6?
- Oct 28 2011
Should have searched for lsof instead of hard-coding. Will update in next version.
- Oct 28 2011
Thanks for the feedback. Good to know it works with Opera as well. I've written a basic script to copy vids to your home directory.
http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Save+cached+video?content=146400
Use it by typing "mozz [filename]" and it will save the video to $HOME/flvs/filename.flv

Its a good theme. Thought someone would have ported it to openbox ages ago. The gtk2 theme is MurrinaVerdeOlivo which you can get here:

I've been looking for a file manager to use with Razor-QT desktop so this looked promising. Compilation was fine but it won't run. Don't know where else to post a bug report.

OK. Not knowing Bodhi, I'll walk through my setup - hopefully it will help. My X config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) contains:
Quote:
I dropped tamsyn into /usr/share/fonts/sgi and ran mkfont[scale|dir] as root in that directory. Instead of restarting, you can run (as normal user) 'xset fp rehash' for X to reload its fonts.
Use xfontsel to look for tamsyn or try 'xlsfonts | grep tamsyn'.

System fonts are usually kept under /usr/share/fonts. You can copy the tamsyn fonts into an existing directory maybe /usr/share/fonts/misc. Open a terminal in that directory and, as root, run mkfontscale and mkfontdir. Restart X and the fonts should be available.

Thanks for the good game of cards, especially hearts. Compile problems with QT 4.7 tho - needed to remove references to QAssistantClient to get it to work. All is fine now.
- Aug 05 2011
The 64bit version runs OK on LinuxFromScratch. Really gotta say I'm over the ubu thing - if its to run on any distro then just name it Linux.
