Yes, it's working now. Thank you.

My qt5 is upgraded to 5.4 and now I can't launch qt5 apps when "export QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct" is in bashrc:
/usr/bin/qtcreator: line 2: 1278 Segmentation fault (core dumped) QT_LOGGING_TO_CONSOLE=1 qtcreator-bin $@ - Dec 13 2014
/usr/bin/qtcreator: line 2: 1278 Segmentation fault (core dumped) QT_LOGGING_TO_CONSOLE=1 qtcreator-bin $@ - Dec 13 2014
A few suggestions if not a big hassle for you:
1. To see the newly customised theme/style/colour scheme one needs to click "OK" and quit the app and re-launch it to further customise it. An "Apply" button beside "OK" and "Cancel" making it possible to not quit the app during tinkering would be a fine convenience.
2. The list in the Palette Editor window doesn't seem to follow a logic, i.e. WindowText and Window are far apart for instance among others.
3. Some entries in the Palette Editor window are obscure for us, users: Light, Midlight, Dark, Mid. Would be fine if there were brief explanations of those.
4. I believe the user after making custom colour schemes/styles of his/her own, can save them as 1-qt5ct.conf, 2-qt5ct.conf etc. and make one of them default replacing it with ~/.config/qt5ct/qt5ct.conf. Yet this requires quite a manual work. Can such a facility be implemented in the app itself?
5. Would you mind putting the colour picker/chooser widget of your app as a seperate app as well since there's nothing like it for a Qt only system. (There's one in Github, but not as elegant with two windows.)
By the way, it works putting that environment thing in ~/.bashrc as well.
By the way 2, my previous failure at using the app may have arised from my having Qt5 version 5.3 not 5.4, though it's working now. - Dec 02 2014

I don't know what I've done (if anything) but it's working now after another reboot.

I'd encounted the same issue with Qupzilla though in that case the problem was with the "export QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE". That is, putting it in .bashrc hadn't worked, but launching Qupzilla with that argument from the terminal worked. Qupzilla has solved it here:
https://github.com/QupZilla/qupzilla/issues/1357 - Dec 02 2014

Well, launching apps with "--platformtheme qt5ct" argument works expectedly, that is, the launched app honours qt5ct's config.

Right. This time I've created an empty .profile instead of copying the /etc/profile. And I've got the correct result this time:
burak ~ $ export | grep QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME
declare -x QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME="qt5ct"
burak ~ $
Yet, it still doesn't work, do anything. By the way, forgot to mention before, I haven't installed qt54svg as no such package appeares either in official repos or in aur. But qt5ct has been compiled and installed without any issue. - Dec 02 2014

It doesn't output anything.

This is really badly needed, thanks a lot.
Some issues (on Manjaro Fluxbox/KDE5 with Fluxbox session):
1. It's installed in /usr/lib/qt/bin/qt5ct (I've linked it to /usr/bin/qt5ct myself after installation)
2. (guess this is not an issue; just to inform you) I've got this too: /usr/lib/qt/plugins/platformthemes/libqt5ct.so
3. Yet it doesn't work, no matter where I've put "export QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct"
a) first in ~/.bashrc
b) then in ~/.xprofile
c) then in ~/.profile (after first copying this file from /etc/profile)
d) then in /etc/profile - Dec 02 2014

A qt scanner is needed, but this depends on a KDE package: libksane.

Thank you sir.

Thank you for the info. Well, I'm trying to remove all gtk cruft from my system, hence I've asked if it's possible with your app. No problem though, the new version of MakeMKV seemingly does this now.
- May 22 2014
Can we add cover art to an existing MKV file?
- May 22 2014
Thank you so much. This really enhances KDE; brilliant, among all those dysfunctional graphical things. No need for conky; everything's present in the KDE panel. Almost perfect, (except for the mpd and time scheme issues mentioned in github).
- Mar 27 2014
Well, it might be adjustable in future versions then! Besides, number-text-number-text order is much easier for eyes.

Thank you. I forgot about the good developer of adjustableclock who has written the right code for such a date-time scheme. Its text size and py-text's are different, but one can live with that.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU AND THANK YOU! Finally a functional and sensible system monitor.
I would suggest the same thing, MPD monitoring as well. And if possible date and time too as contrary to all the other DE/WMs it's nearly impossible to have this basic and functional date and time scheme in one legible line in KDE panel:
11:52 Sat 29 Oct
All of these info may require a wide panel, but then one can use a separate panel for just py-text-monitor either on another edge of the desktop or next to the regular one if one has a big screen. - Oct 29 2013

Your colors/theme looks elegant; would appreciate if you share it.

Broken link.

All right, thank you.

Thanks so much. By the way, the qgmailnotifier has only a tray icon. I'm very glad to see that you've made an icon for the greatest dictionary app, Goldendict, however its tray icon doesn't honour your implementation. Guess there's nothing to do about this as I've replaced its icon path in its desktop file with yours; not only that, I've replaced the actual icon in pixmaps folder with yours without luck as well.

Thanks for the very fine work. You might perhaps consider these too:
Octopi (a very fine graphical package manager of Manjaro which can be used in other Arch based distros as well.
Cantata (The best audio player, an mpd client.)
Kid3 / Kid3-qt (Very fine audio tagger.)
MakeMKV (The great and only DVD/Bluray to mkv converter.)
Mkvtoolnix
LuckyBackUp (The best backup utility.)
Qgmailnotifier (Old but reliable gmail notifier which doesn't require Kwallet.)
ReText (Markdown editor)
Expoblending, Open in Raw Editor, Panorama (All, I guess, get installed as parts of Digikam though they just sit under the Kickoff menu.)
Xsane, Qwinff, Yagf, QTFM, Juffed, Sweeper, Qpdfview, ZNotes, Plume Creator, Flirc, Converseen - Oct 29 2013

Looks fine, though have just created a few headings etc.
1. Could it be possible to merge those two side panels (category and documents)? And add TOC for headers too? Like in Zim?
2. Syntax highlighting? In order to keep only the editor window for viewing as well?
3. Line sorting command? In order to use a category/document as a simple address book?
4. Rather than first exporting, directly print to browser (like Zim) for easy printout?
5. Hotkey to un/minimise to tray like Clementine etc. for easy/instant access? - Sep 10 2013

Sounds like a much bigger thing than Zim. I've tried ReText which is very fine as a markdown editor and Mikidown combining Zim and ReText which is also an intelligent idea, but not as convenient and effortless as Zim. Zim is one of the very very few irreplaceable apps in my Qt-only system. Hopefully this will change soon!
- Sep 10 2013
All right, fine. If that qt desktop wiki is sort of a Zim equivalent, that's even beter!
- Sep 10 2013
This would be very fine for a Qt only system (especially for the upcoming LXDE-Qt/LXQT DE) if not unpractical for you, since there isn't any Qt app for this (Audex being a KDE app).
- Sep 10 2013
Thanks for the fine app.
This seems to be a bug (as other FMs don't have it):
qtfm doesn't recognise the correct mime type of LyX documents. Instead of the correct text/x-lyx (or application/x-lyx), they appear as text/x-tex files. - Sep 09 2013

THANKS!
Well, in fact just before implementing your code I've seen my configuration to be (this time surprisingly) working as well, but your official version is better! And I'll prey for you!

Whenever Adjustable Clock is updated I try to make date/time like so (in one line in the panel):
21:40 Thu 16 May
But I can't. If you could implement this as a preset I would prey for you!
In every other DE/WM this is either the default implementation or can easily be configured, but not in the otherwise richest, most configurable DE (KDE). - May 16 2013
