Capitaine Cursors

Hey undefinedhax, with r4 I'm matching the rendered sizes to the 24x24 standard set by DMZ and other cursor themes. If you find it too small, I'd recommend instructing your desktop environment to use the 32x32 size (which is equivalent to the old 1x size).

In GNOME, this can be done by selecting Settings > Universal Access > Cursor size > Medium

If you find this unsatisfactory, please feel free to open an issue on my GitHub page, and I'll see what I can do about it :) - Feb 20 2020

if you have it saved under the folder "~/.themes/la-capitaine-icon-theme" for instance, the inheritance name should be "la-capitaine-icon-theme" afaik. - Oct 04 2017

No worries. I'm Canadian, so I took French through most of my schooling, but incidentally also switched gears to German in first year of uni. I'm trying to stay on top of both languages, but it's hard! lol. Haha thanks! It looks like you're correct. My French high school teacher would probably kill me for making this mistake. I had the intention of making "le capitaine" feminine, but it seems like the 'le' article should still be used. Good catch lol. I may need to pick up a book on French grammar, since my skills have clearly slipped. I think it's probably too late to change the name, so consider it a quirk of the product :P - Jul 18 2017

make sure that you have inkscape installed, it's required to build from the SVG source; cd to capitaine-cursors/src and run build.sh, you should see that a `build/` directory has been populated; copy the build directory to ~/.icons - Apr 10 2017

No. You should also know that La Capitaine was forked from 'El General' long before it become Antü. These are two very separate icon packs, and I have no intention of converging back to Antü designs. - Mar 19 2017

2) Right now I'm not focusing on packaging this theme for any particular distributions, because I update it a lot. Packages for Arch and Gentoo exist because other maintainers decided to make them :) - Sep 03 2016
