>>> Its not a bug, its a feature! :)
The zoom window can not be closer, because otherwise it would zoom in itself... I am looking for a solution.
Lol, in fact there are a bug. On the first screen it's far but not too far. But on second screen it's black and also veryyyyy far, quite out of the screen :)
>>> * Would be cool to have a "cancel" option [...]
Use the stop button :)
I'm not sure to understand. Stop button will write the file and proceed to encoding just what I want to cancel ;) - Nov 29 2009

After some tests, my two cents about bugs & improvement that can be done :
* There are issues on dual screen configuration (at least on my config):
- It's always the first screen that is recorded when using "record full screen" function.
- The zoom function doesn't work on the second screen (using frame recording). The zoom window stay black and is weirdly far away from the cursor.
These are not major issues as I can still use first screen only but it's cool if it can be adressed.
* The "show mouse clicks" function is great but I think the design could be improved. It's a bit anoying to have this led following the cursor. It could be better to just show a colored circle around the cursor only on clicks.
* Would be cool to have a "cancel" option because it is useless to render the video & encode it if i think I need to redo it while recording.
* Adding params to set distance between cursor and zoom's window.
* The included KDE's opengl effects like the magnifying glass or the stars around the cursor are also very usefull and working great. However, when using frame recording and magnifying glass, the frame is zoomed too (seems normal behavior so far) but recorded video is ok. Should be great that the frame stay at the same size (like recorded video) but it is maybe hardcore to find a way to address this issue as the frame is a part of the display... If you have an idea :)
Thx ++
PS: I've sent you the french localization by email.

Many thanks for this very usefull piece of software !
Working great even if it has crash few times using the "record a window" option (I will try to retrieve some logs if I reproduce it).
Thx for the ebuilds too ;) It compile like a charm. - Nov 28 2009

Just forgot, an example for people not using genkernel :
# tar xvjf gentoo-noia.tar.bz2 -C /etc/splash
# splash_geninitramfs -v -g /boot/fbsplash-gentoo-noia-1280x800 -r 1280x800 gentoo-noia
Example in grub.conf :
# Gentoo Linux
title Gentoo Linux
root (hd0,0)
kernel (hd0,0)/kernel-2.6.17-gentoo-r8 root=/dev/hda3 splash=silent,fadein,theme:gentoo-noia quiet CONSOLE=/dev/tty1 video=vesafb:ywrap,mtr,1280x800-32@60
initrd (hd0,0)/fbsplash-gentoo-noia-1280x800 - Oct 07 2006

Nice to see all theses new features especially the movable frame.
The circle under the mouse cursor is great but it would be cool to add an option to display this circle only on mouse clicks instead of displaying it black all the time.
