Nice to hear that everything is ok now! - Oct 18 2009

Thanks for the hint!
Unfortunately, we cannot see any benefits of such a call with our local machines (acceleration just works fine here).

But could you please try to do the followin thing: instead of command line call, make the 1st line of main(..) function in main.c file
QApplication::setGraphicsSystem("raster");

If this will work fine for you as well, we incorporate this change into 0.2.4 release. - Jul 16 2009

Welcome to the forum! There are also English topics there, hovewer the main developers are from Ukraine. - Jul 07 2009
Yes, this looks strange. Everything should work well, but maybe it is a Qt issue. Which Qt version do you use for build?

PS. There is a mess with messages here, could you please go to our local forum:

http://forum.xlabsoft.com/viewforum.php?id=13 - Jul 07 2009
could you please open gamewidget.cpp and go to the code (it is in the very beginning of the file):

// on X11, we'll check if data directory exists locally first
#ifdef Q_OS_X11
if (!QDir(resourcePath).exists())
resourcePath = "/usr/local/games/jag/data/";
#endif

and comment out everything except

resourcePath = "/usr/local/games/jag/data/";

does it solve the issue? - Jul 07 2009

Actually, after installation, jag binary comes to /usr/local/bin. Then the logic is following: if executable can find ../data dir, then it uses it (so it is possible to play without installation this way). Otherwise, it looks for data in /usr/local/games/jag.
At least, it works on Kubuntu and FreeBSD.
Have you tried to run it without installation, does it work? - Jul 07 2009
data subdir should be placed in /usr/local/games/jag, but sudo make install should do this as well... - Jul 07 2009
Thanks for your post!

Regarding level packs - currently there are only 50 levels included, packs will be issued a bit later.

Could you please explain the problem more in detail? Which OS do you use? JAG has been tested on Windows XP and Vista, and there are no problems seen after installation. - Jul 06 2009
Nice to hear! Right now we're working on the next update, will be issued soon ;) - Jul 04 2009
well, strange bug... but this was already reported on the forum, something wrong with profile... - Jul 03 2009

Thanks a lot!

We're working on the next update now, it will support Vista theme and other stuff.

Also, it is planned to make a widget like in Vista's Control Panel (a box with links) - could be a quite usable. - May 02 2009
could you please try this updated version? we've fixed project a bit. - Apr 30 2009
seems that you have some compatibility issues with your Qt version and VS Integration. Which Qt version do you use? - Mar 20 2009
ok, please test the latest update... - Apr 26 2008
I'm also expecting some very strange issues with mingw. It can not link demos against the library built statically. Dont know yet if it is an issue of mingw itself, or qmake/make, or...
Need some extra time for this. - Apr 26 2008
Thanks for the report,
I see that the problem appears with mingw only. I need to install it in order to check the issue, so this will take some time. But I'll do this ASAP.

Hi,
Unfortunately VB does not support this feature... - Jul 23 2008
Hi,
there is no direct support of Designer,
but you can put VB to the form using widget promotion.
