Read "About Launcher Support" above.

Read and voted for ^_^

The KDE devs tend to be quite open to suggestions and hard-working, so I suspect we may see this soon! I'll also post about it on the Ubuntu Forums and maybe other places!

This was the original behaviour of STasks. I think it is inconsistent, unintuitive and unhandy. When I have gimp open, it consists of at least 3 windows, all of them in one group. Now I want to minimize gimp as a whole and than raise it again. A simple click is enough. When I want the tooltip, I hover the task. That's how you get a tooltip.

Ah ok. I do fully see your point, I actually thought it was a little silly in Windows 7 as well. Howeverrr... if it's not too much trouble I think it would be really nice to see an option for this, simply because you have to bear in mind many people are used to the behaviour of the normal superbar, and may want Smooth Tasks to react the same or predict that it will.. sorry to be a pest, I just think things like this may make it more accessible to ex-7 users! :)

What do you think? - Nov 22 2009
heh, sorry man :)

I meant like, in Windows 7 when you hover over a taskbar entry and single click, it brings up the available windows (like it does when you hover on Smooth Tasks). I guess it doesn't make a huge amount of difference, maybe I'm just used to the behaviour of Win 7 :)

Oh additionally, are there any plans to add pinning of programs like in 7? - Nov 22 2009
On single click action could Smooth Tasks open up the selection for the different windows of that program, as opposed to minimizing it if it's open? That would be cool :)

Double click could minimize? Or maybe just the option for this behaviour could be given in the Smooth Tasks settings or something :) - Nov 20 2009
Absolutely fantastic I love it, I just installed it using the deb package on Ubuntu :)

Only criticisms are tiny little imperfections such as hover lighting being slightly jerky when hovering over different icons quickly, or the manual sorting not being TOTALLY perfect, but for the most part it's really cool!

Oh, any chance of having it included in the normal plasma downloads for KDE 4? I couldn't see it in there but I have to admit I'm not sure how one gets included anyway! :)

Cheers guys,

Mike! - Nov 20 2009
