Yes, I very much agree, the project needs to be renewed, make some deep changes (the most important is allowing it to be installed from the Dolphin services installer). I would love to be able to assure you that these changes will come soon, but I am still very busy with my jobs. I hope to be able to update it more frequently starting with the new version of KDE Plasma 6, which according to its developers will be released in February of next year. I am very happy to know that it is still useful; That is the goal, to obtain a desktop environment that is as functional as possible using low hardware resources. Thanks very much for rate up. As you say right now I could see that the services disappear but the menu continues there. Apparently it is a bug so testing with other menus when it contains separating lines continue to show after disabling all services. As soon as I have time I will report the Bug to the KDE project; please if it is possible it would be great that the Bug will report. A temporary solution would be to delete the file "MEGA-Tools_servicemenu.desktop" that enables the "MEGA Tools" menu service. Remove "/usr/share/kservices5/ServiceMenus/MEGA-Tools_servicemenu.desktop", "/usr/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/MEGA-Tools_servicemenu.desktop" and "/usr/share/applications/MEGA_Tools-main.sh" of your file system. Actually I would never have imagined that a user would be able to prefer the functionality provided by KDE-Services before updating their desktop environment. Thank you very much for the preference.

I have not been able to update or improve KDE-Services for 10 months because I have a lot of work to do in other areas.

The RPM package kde-services-3.0.2-0.fc 26.noarch.rpm never existed. The current RPM package installs most of the dependencies, which are in the official repositories. The rest of the dependencies must be installed manually because they are not in the official repositories.

If the installation is failing due to missing a dependency, it is possible that the official repositories have been modified, if so, please send me the error output.

Thank you very much for such generous words. The main idea of this project is to make life easier for the end user in their daily interaction with their desktop environment saving time and resources, so the correct functioning of all services is the priority.

It is a great idea to publish the services independently, I will keep it in mind for the future, at this moment I am too busy and with financial problems that do not allow me free time, that's why the project has slowed down its updates.

The typographical error will be fixed in the next version. The progress bar is only informative, it only counts the number of files processed in percent, it can not show in real time the procedure that the ffmpeg command performs due to limitations of the kdialog command. You can install via RPM:

# rpm -ivh --force --nodeps kde-services-3.0.0-0.fc25.noarch.rpm

or better yet install via Tarball

$ tar -jxvf kde-services-3.0.0.tar.bz2
$ cd kde-services-3.0.0
$ sudo make install

Sorry, my native language is spanish and I only know english at a technical level used in systems and networks administration for servers and computers. The translation into several languages I did it with translation software, knew that would not be correct but I had a hunch that would collaborate users.
