With version r1222543 all windows start in the top left corner. With oxygen-transparent KDE doesn't remember any window position. Popup windows like e.g. kdialog show the same behaviour: everything starts in the top left corner.

Now I retried to install - same result. The other application windows and application menus seems to reside behind the automaticly started daisy desktop. It's impossible to start or see any other app, because the daisy desktop is alwasy on top. - Jul 04 2009
I installed version 0.0.4.18 for the first time ever, rebbooted my machine and Daisy had hijacked the Desktop and deactivated the right click menue of the mouse. The only way to get back my previous settings was to uninstall this app via console.

I don't want to say, your apps are viruses, I only described the behaviour of daisy in this case. Sorry for this. - Jul 04 2009
Why this plasmoid sets itself as not removable desktop background while no other apps are visible or usable? I had to go back to console and uninstall daisy. That's virus like. - Jul 04 2009

All other Apps are working without any problems, also the cwp plamoid shows correct weather info. I belive, it's a matter of the weather provider. May be it's not reachable from Germany. - Jun 11 2009

The applet doesn't show openSUSE-specific entries like e. g. yast.

I'm using openSUSE 11.0 with KDE 4.1. - Sep 29 2008
It works now. The problem was causally in my installation. After reeinstalling KDE-4.1 everything works fine.
Thank you for this great work - Sep 21 2008
It doesn't work for me. I got the rpm from the build service for openSUSE 11.0 and KDE 4.1. But also when i compile it by hand, it's always the same. The plasmoid is shown in the menu but doesn't give any feedback when it is set to desktop or to the bar, no icon, not configurable and nothing happens after clicking. It's only a black dot. - Sep 19 2008
Same here, i'm using openSUSE-11.0 with KDE-4.1. The Plasmoid is only a dot without icon, not configurable and not clickable. - Sep 18 2008

Why some weather.com cities are not shown correctly?

E.g. GMXX0044 always is shown as Dusseldorf, but it is wrong. GMXX0044 has to be Gelsenkirchen as shown right e.g. in weather screenlet (http://compiz-themes.org/content/show.php/?content=77163).

GMXX0024 (Dortmund) is also shown shown wrong but only some times.

Hi,
I use a tiny kicker size, so i had to scale the button images with an image editor, but this is a little complicated.
I wish, kbfx could scale the button images by itself while using different kicker heights.

The user image isn't shown in the tooltip, despite creating a .face.icon. Is there any solution? - May 05 2006

Sorry!
I only found this way to set a x11 mouse theme globally as default. On SuSE 9.0 the installation in "~/.kde/icons" doesn't work correctly. - Dec 10 2003
First you have to copy as root the "RedDot" folder in
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/icons/.
Then edit the file
/etc/sysconfig/windowmanager
in the line
X_MOUSE_CURSOR="..."
to
X_MOUSE_CURSOR="RedDot".
Now log out and log in as your default user, that's all. - Dec 03 2003
