behind this project. actually i use
lancelot too instead of plasma's default
kickoff.
i just want to clarify that i don't see
the need of using C++ for a kickoff menu.
it undermines everything that plasma is
made for and that is: independence of
distribution and easy installing through
the build-in menu (if plasmoids are
written in a scripting language like
python or ruby and that's what they
should be.)
btw plasmoids have their own section at
kde-look.org though.

with ubuntu 8.04 i needed 20mins.
so a) please provide packages for the main distros
or b) make it possible to install the widget in KDE 4.1's widget-menu (install new widgets).
thanks. - Aug 28 2008

but nevertheless, i'm not afraid of using gnome-tools on kde. i tried to get furiusiso working an now it does fine. I added my user to the fuse-group, afer the Acetoniso installation recommended this step ;)
maybe you can give that hint in furius too.. maybe after the installation or in the application itself.
well thanks for your help. - Jun 23 2008

i experienced some troubles with Kubuntu 8.04 (fuseiso & mono-runtime are normally installed):
0.8.2.0:
I can choose iso or bin files normaly and Furius is sure to have mount them correcly. in deed it creates the mountpoint folder but it is always empty. log says that everything was normal. i tried this with iso DVD-images an bin CD-images.
0.8.3.0:
Furius won't start because of:
xbs@nv:~$ furiusisomount
The assembly mscorlib.dll was not found or could not be loaded.
It should have been installed in the `/usr/lib/mono/2.0/mscorlib.dll' directory.
i don't get why it is looking for windows libs :/
so anyway.. none of the recent versions work for me :/ - Jun 22 2008
