The CPU and GPU themps are off and i need to update them manually the first time every time i start Latte-dock (or plasmashell).
It's solved with this tweak but it would be useful to have that update here as well: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/plasma5-applet-thermal-monitor-not-showing-cpu-temperature/71587

same issue here. I found a simpler solution in a proposed patch https://github.com/kotelnik/plasma-applet-thermal-monitor/issues/53#issuecomment-508884485

unfortunately, this addon looks unmaintained

7 Doesn't work with my NVMe WD Black SSD. Also, when you have a lot of devices that can be "displayed" when you try to add it the list goes off screen with no scroll bar; not helpful. Works, to a degree, but is clearly unfinished in places.

Excellent widget! But I got a small issue, hope you can fix it soon, it is the widget doesn't auto start at boot, I have to right click and select Reload...

I just installed this a couple days ago, I love it! Only problem (as some already pointed out) is that you have to right click the widget and then select Reload, otherwise it will only show "OFF".

EDIT: I found a solution on Github.
I'll explain briefly, (Note, I just started using Manjaro, which is my first Linux installation... I'm sorry if I'm too detailed).

First open Dolphin (or your file explorer of choice) and navigate to
/home//.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.thermalMonitor/contents/ui/
(Note! ".local" is a hidden folder, you'll need to access is through dolphins 'Adressbar' )

in the ui folder you'll find a file "main.qml", open that and search (ctrl + f) for "systemmonitorAvailableSources"; change this row from:
property var systemmonitorAvailableSources
to
property var systemmonitorAvailableSources: []

Next time you start your computer, you'll not have to manually reload the widget.
I read this at github, here is the link:

9 It needs an update. You have to "reload temperature sources" at boot to make it work, which is a sign it may deteriorate even further in the future.

This widget is a "must have" and i wish KDE developers would pick it up and make it one of the default ones, since it is critical for those who have laptops.

Since my laptop started overheating and I spent time dismantling and cleaning to resolve I have become a bit dependent on this widget. After messing round this morning re-installing (inc from github/discover/terminal) I ended up getting it from `just a icon' to a working temp gauge by choosing the .386 source instead of the default. (neon). It now again sits in the toolbar telling me the temp which is currently 52% Celsius ( it was wavering between 70 - 90 a few months back without my knowledge and the laptop was playing up for awhile before I worked out the problem using this widget) - just a bit of feedback...

+I have a weird bug where I have to 'refresh sources' after logon to display cpu core group temperatures (highest temp core shown). Otherwise it remains blank. However gpu temp (single temp source) works correctly on initial widget load.
