I've taken inspiration from theese two splash for kde and kdm:

I love this style so I've implemented also the bootsplash!!!!

I hope you'll enjoy it!

install "kbootsplash" on your computer....

or anyway you must copy the folder into:
/etc/bootsplash/themes/

ad then you have to configure the sysconfig file... i suggest kbootsplash anyway

i cant install kbootsplash.. it says no KDE header something....

Hi,

there might be a minor error in the text on your second screenshot. I think it would be better to say "Welcome _to_ Linux"

I still love it, though :) IMHO, this splash screen is among the best I've ever seen.

Installing now... ;)

hi.. i finally installed the bootsplash, but i had a problem with the progress bar its growing verticaly not horizontaly.. what is the problem?
