Added status and chat icons

I saw on the google page that you were looking to make an icon theme to go with elegant brit. While I am not a designer by any means there were a few things I thought I'd contribute that I feel many themes are lacking:

1) All icons should have a set transparent border around them, all being the same dimensions. This would keep tray icons in a nicer row.
2) Be original. I'd love to see folders with the same concept of these icons here. The "flat" and "gloss" looks seem to be popular but both overdo it.
3) Go for a full theme and don't release it half done. There is nothing more frustrating than a half finished theme. Take all the time you need and try to get all the icons. Battery, wireless signal, volume, etc. So many themes fall back to gnome/tango for these and it doesn't fit.

I look forward to seeing what the project comes out with. :)

really nice icons! I found that the desktop icon in the places menu was still showing the wrong one. Making a link to desktop.svg and user-desktop.svg solved this for me. keep up the good work!

Yopu must go to the /usr/share/pixmaps/pidgin or in /usr/local/share/pixmaps/pidgin (sure, you must install pidgin messenger to have ot). After that copy directories tray and status, that you can find in archive to this directory (if it asks you to replace existing pictures, you're on the right way). After that restart pidgin and voi-la: it works ;)

I love these icons !

There is no way to install 'em in home folder ? that way when pidgin gets updated, the substitution process is not needed anymore

I don't know. These two ways to try:

1. Make directory ~/.pixmaps/pidgin and place icons there

2. If (1) wantn't work, make symlinks to icons, placed somewhere...

Yes, the first method is better, but i was never thinking about doing this =)

thx, I has try the 1st way but icons seems not changed.
Later I found the path where can work fine.

Make directory ~/.local/share/pixmaps/pidgin and place icons there

hi,
this theme is really great.
but it seems that one tray icon is missing on my pidgin.

if i setup my status to extended away(not available), no icon is displayed in tray..like a missing picture.
