Description:

XtremeStatus is a highly modified version of Karraskal's Kstatus. It has evolved very much over time, and has gotten better and better. It has functions like a CPU usage monitor, RAM usage, SWAP information, hard disk information, amaroK and Kaffeine info & control, and much more.

i seem to be having a lil truouble with the amarok part of your app.

it wont display the title or other information about wats playing and etc.


im running suse 10.0-64-bit.
--SuperKaramba.

any thoughts to wat mighit be wrong, or maybe a setting somewhere?

I got several problems with that request:
What mail app? Kmail? Thunderbird?
Or perhaps Gmail?

And can someone edit the transparent PNG and add a line that fits for mail checking?

And where do I get the commands or scripts neccessary for the mail function?

And last, and probably least: I personally use gmail. I don't need a version with mail check. But if you want it, and solve the above problems, I'll make a special version with the mail function.

Truly nice consice theme that also looks good. Great job.One improvement suggestion. Can you make 'sensors' work with the theme as well. In particular, the fan speeds and temperatures (maybe even voltages)? Also, it would be nice if some sections of the theme were selectable (in other words, so you could opt not to display them)

Sure thing, but I suck with image editing, plus I haven't used these sensors before.
Mind helping me get this done?

I don't really have much time to do much coding myself right now. However, I can work with you to get you started in the right direction. To implement the "selectable display" option that I was talking about, you would need to add some python code to your theme. Don't get scared away by that. You already have most of the work done. Now, you just have to convert your theme file into a python file. If you don't know how to do that, let me know.As for 'sensors', well, it's just a matter of adding another set of sensors for fan speeds and voltages and their corresponding icons which you could borrow from some other theme.

I tried learning python a few times, but reading tutorials is so boring. I start doing other things within two minutes...

Regarding the fan speed stuff, I'll need the commands needed to get the info, and I'll need someone to change the background (kolourpaint doesn't do transparent PNGs lmao)
