2009-12-04: see on screenshot 2, what has changed (+new emerald mouseover button)
2009-12-02: reworked and fixed some bugs and ugly widgets. (no more ugly toolbar separators, Evince toolbar works correctly now, better button color setup...)
2009-11-30: included my userchrome.css, cause you have to change the ffox tabbar size for this tab look. without this css code, they have different heighs

It looks very nice.
Since I'm new in Ubuntu (was using mac before), I'm still trying to figure out how to include the different icon sets to gruenstich.

Just 2 problems. First, the theme keeps freezing up my whole UI when I open a menu in the main Ubuntu menu.
Second, the background for the top gnome panel looks messed up. The main background image is several pixels too short for the bar, but the theme prevents me from reducing the hight. The height behind some panel widgets (the Ubuntu menu and the user switcher/logout widget) is better, but I still get a white line across the bottom.
These problems don't seem to be just my machine because I've had them on three different machines now. My setup is:
Ubuntu 9.10 AMD64 (although also happens on 386)
Quad-core with 8G memory (so shouldn't be a resources problem)
GeForce 7900 512M
newest Murrine and Aurora engines from PPA
Thanks for any help. I want to use this great theme!

well, now to your probs
the first one:
open the gtkrc inside the theme folder. there´s a line a the beginning: "icon sizes"...change the menu entry to 16,16 or what you want
scaling down to 0,0 brings problems on some computers
the second prob:
open the panel folder and resize the panel background image to the size of your panel
the panel is pixbased so that´s the only way to fit it to panel size
i hope, this will solve your probs, if not, plz tell me

I added your theme in the french ubuntu wiki.
Hope you will propose a good pack with icones ( and the configuration for avant window navigator ) or a just small tutorial. :)
Got a suggestion : here is skin for xmms/audacious (winamp ) in the same design : http://veroka.deviantart.com/art/Cup-of-tea-pack-38143391
and this soundpack : http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Dream?content=75398

what I mean is that the url-bar in thunar is very different from the nautilus one or the firefox one, expecially for the drop down menu on the right.
can you add specific styles for thunar's widget ?
i hope i explained my "problem" better ;)

the entry field looks the same like in nautilus, but i think i can change it, so it fits to the ffox´s one...(i wanted to change the nautilus field too, how could you know this? ;) )
about the button...hmmm that´s a thunar typical thing
i try to change it via pixmaps, but i think it will not be easy cause i have to find out the specific name of this button
i think it will take me some time, so please wait, if i couldn´t figure it out the next 2 or 3 days, cause i´m really busy ;)

i just want to fix some bugs, than i want to create a full pack with 4 or 5 color versions, blue included
but you can change it really easy by yourself
go to the theme folder and recolor the active tab pixmap with gimp
than change the green in appearance settings, tab "colors" to a blue of your choice...that´s all ;)
but, about openbox theme...i´m sorry, i don´t use openbox and i´m not reall well in obox theming :(
maybe someone who reads this, is able to create a obox theme???

1. The emerald theme - any window wider than 975 pixels gets buggy in the top right corner. See the screenshot with 2 windows 976 and 975 pixels wide - http://i47.tinypic.com/dnf1u9.png This one was easily fixed by just unchecking the "Scaled" checkbox in the Emerald theme manager for the first 3 pixmaps (top, top left and top right) and setting the minimum titlebar height to 19 instead of 20 to get rid of the line that appears after unchecking. I could upload the "fixed" version if you want but I'm sure you'll see what I'm talking about.
2. The panel background - if the panel is bigger than 22px it becomes pretty messy but that is again easily fixed by tweaking the panel.rc
3. Unreadable text here and there, mainly because of the dark toolbars (which I totally love btw) but nothing serious so far.
4. (the one that's bugging me the most) - Banshee's progressbar is completely black ( http://i48.tinypic.com/2upe51g.png ). I just can't find a way to fix it, hopefully you will.
Sorry for the extremely long and boring post, hope you didn't fall asleep ;)
Cheers and once again - great theme!

If you have the main toolbar set to icons+text the text is also invisible (except inactive). The last one applies to every toolbar set to "text" or "icons+text".
Firefox: Bookmarks toolbar. As a temporary solution I moved my bookmars to the menubar (next to the File, Edit, etc) which after only 15 min seems really comfortable but maybe not for everyone. Should be easy to fix trough userChrome.css
Banshee: Some white text on a light background, you can see it on the screenshot in my first comment. Not really unreadable but a little uncomfortable.
Everything else seems fine :)

i´ll try to fix them
but, with the dark toolbar text, there´s a prob
if it´s white, it´s less visible on buttons like in the nautilus addressbar, and if it´s black, i have the prob you described :)
