Very unique idea. I like it. :)
It would look more authentic, if you moved the login prompt right under ready, made its background blue and removed the username label. That way it resembles the original c64 prompt.

For some reason I imagine the prompt is usually at the bottom of the screen?

But probably I am getting confused with the spectrum computer.
