rendered with yafray, but you modeled it with blender?

nice, but a but too much JPEG compression, unless the grainyness was intentional.

Modeling was done in Lightwave then imported into blender to render with YafRay.

The speckles are caused by the Depth of field for creating focus effect. I tried using an anti-aliasing of 12 passes with 5 samples per pass, but they're still there. I'll try to render and upload the image without the DoF effect.
