It's an animated wallpaper based on the original crunchy branch wallpaper(Transparent Background)http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Crunchy+Branch?content=75680

- Download file and untar into /usr/share/backgrounds

- In panel "change desktop background", Click Add and select this file /usr/share/backgrounds/crunchybranch/crunchybranch.xml

It says the file is corrupted when i open the tar.gz

Hi All, the animation will start every 0am to 5 am with a static dark wallpaper.
After this, they are 8 switch every two hours. The animation end with a static dark wallpaper at 9pm to 0am.

Sorry for my bad english :(

It's a cool wallpaper and a good idea but, in my opinion, the animation would be more amazing if there is a faster background changing, now it's just a group of wallpapers (I prefer the black/white one :P)

how fast does it animate? i'm seeing the 08 png for the last 2 or so mins

it's animating.. but, it work like "iGoogle's images". At the night, the image is more darkness, at the morning, more clean.

I followed your directions. I copied everything into /usr/share/wallpapers.
I went to appearance preferences and added the xml file.
All I get is a brown background.
It doesn't work.

Okay dude i got it. <ake sure you alter the XML file to your desktop. You have to change all the "/usr/share/backgrounds/crunchybranch/" to whatever location you8 have it in

After untar the file into /usr/share/backgrounds, you must do select de xml file include into /usr/share/backgrounds/crunchybranch/

The xml file name is crunchybranch.xml
