Description:

Change the way you look at your desktop. Get carefully crafted, bright and clean icon-theme for Gnome Desktop.
Shadow is a flat icon-theme for gnome 3.10+. The icons have a colourful circular base with long shadow.

Essential Instruction: Extract it in an existing directory (e.g. ~/.icons/shadow)

Ready for Gnome 3.32. All default gnome apps installed with Fedora 30 is themed. If you find any missing icons in other distros, kindly let me know.

Missing icon request: Please try https://www.opendesktop.org/p/1210642/ script which is a simple python script to get missing icons from your installation.
The script searches for apps in /usr/share/applications directory and if any icon name is missing from the `Shadow`, it puts the corresponding file from /usr/share/icons in /tmp/missingicons dir.
Kindly let me know if this is helpful.

new kde version uploaded: April iteration of kde version is now available. sorry for the delay.
NB: Since I am not a KDE user, I will be grateful if kde users let me know errors and missing icons for kde as the use it.

Mate support. Pantheon (default in elementary) support coming soon. I don't use those de personally. So, if you find icons are missing, kindly let me know at https://github.com/rudrab/Shadow/issues.
tar.xz file structure has changed. untar it directly inside the already existing shadow dir, or create the shadow dir first

Beside most popular apps, this iconset also includes some uncommon apps, used by very specific groups like xmgrace, xcrysden.

Installation
Installation in straight forward.
From Github: git clone the content to ~/.icon folder.
From gnome-look.org: Download and untar the file in ~/.icon folder.

Activate the theme using tweak-tool or from command line:
`gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface icon-theme "shadow"`

Instruction for Mate and elementary Desktop Environment
The changecolor.py is completely re-written. You will have option to choose your de (gnome/mate/pantheon/unity) and colour independent of each other.
Kindly let me know if you face any problem in running `changecolor.py` (preferably in github)

Very nice icons.
One thing: on elementaryos juno the bluetooth icon when connected dont apper. When nothing is connected the icon apper again. Is this icon missing?

Love the icon set, but i do have a few things about it that i am not too fond of. Namely the top panel icons and the applications icon on the dash the circle style adds unnecessary complications to icons.
where do i go to remove or change these back to default while keeping the rest of the icons from this set?

Quick question - I noticed in KDE Plasma, the folder icons in File Manager have the Gnome logo. Can this be changed for Plasma installs? I would be happy to file a bog report if that helps.

Also, the missing icon script does not work in KDE - Message is shown that the icon set is not installed (presumably because it's looking in the wrong place). Thanks and keep up the good work.
