QUICK INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -> You can choose between:
PPA modality:
1 Type in a terminal window:
* sudo add-apt-repository ppa:alecive/antigone
* sudo apt-get update
* sudo apt-get install kawoken-icon-theme
* kawoken-icon-theme-customization
2 Follow Instructions
WARNING: with ppa subscription you can always get the newest version on your machine. But to see the improvements, you have to configure (or re-configure) at least once the iconset either for clear version, or dark version, or even a colored one.
DeviantArt download modality:
1. Download the archive from the deviantArt page available by clicking on the bottom-left button.
Extract the archive you downloaded, then System Settings -> Application Appearance -> Icons and click the Install Theme File button. Then, click the "Open file dialog" button on the right of the location text entry, select the kAwOken.tar.gz file in the "kAwOken" folder you just extracted, and click the "Ok" button. You have to iterate this procedure both for the kAwOkenDark.tar.gz archive, and the kAwOkenWhite.tar.gz one.
2. Open a terminal/konsole (or whatever you prefer) and type:
* cd `kde4-config --localprefix`/share/icons
* sudo cp -p kAwOken/kawoken-icon-theme-customization /usr/bin
* sudo cp -p kAwOken/kawoken-icon-theme-customization-clear /usr/bin
* sudo cp -p kAwOkenDark/kawoken-icon-theme-customization-dark /usr/bin
* sudo cp -p kAwOkenWhite/kawoken-icon-theme-customization-white /usr/bin
* kawoken-icon-theme-customization
3. Follow Instructions
RECOMMENDED PACKAGES
To exploit full power of customization script, you need zenity (optional, used to see the GUI - in a next future I'll port all the script to kdialog) and imagemagick (mandatory, used to color icons). If you use Debian-based distro, they're in repositories.

Anyway, the text you quoted is an error in the description: you have to download the set from the proper page on deviantArt! I've already updated the description.
But even downloading the set from deviantart the tool doesn't recognize the iconset? I'm sure I tried on my kde partition and it worked!

I'm using PCLinuxOS distro.
1. 'kde4-config' alone does nothing that I can see, 'kde4-cofig --prefix' and 'kde4-cofig --localprefix' all work - they move me to proper directory (/usr and ~/.kde4 accordingly). It's the 'cd' before them (in the installation description) that gives error "unknown file or directory"
2. I've downloaded the archive from "http://alecive.deviantart.com/art/kAwOken-244166779" page (first source from this site) - right top corner of the age, 26,7 MB zip file with "kAwOken" folder and "clear" and "extra" subfolders, all the scripts and instruction in pdf format.
3. I tried to install it with System settings from KDE (default tool to install all kind of themes, icon sets etc.). I don't even know if there is another way except directly extracting archive to proper folder* (which I did since first method didn't work). Why the default method don't work is beyond me unfortunately :/
*proper folder for icon set is '~/.kde4/share/icons' and not '~/.icons' as pdf file suggests (I think it was meant for Gnome though)

cd `kde4-config --localprefix`/share/icons
The artwork description is already updated.
Does it work on your machine?
2-3. You're right for this issue. Now I'll update the description and the package to get a working iconset (the problem is that deviantart doesn't want .tar.gz files, but this is the only extension that System Settings accepts! :(
4. You're right for pdf file, but I haven't already uploaded yet :) Maybe for the next 1.0 (most likely 1.1) version! :)

Anyway, maybe you're right: you typed wrong! In your previous comment you wrote "kde4-cofig" and not "kde4-config" :)

Now I'll colorize the iconset according to your needs. It may take a while.
/usr/share/icons/kAwOken/extra/colorscripts/colorize.sh: line 151: cd: /root/.kde4/share/icons/kAwOken/extra/colorscripts/: No such file or directory
bash: colorationscript.sh: No such file or directory
bash: colorationscript.sh: No such file or directory
