Description:

oxyshine 0.1 for 1280x800 screens!

The idea behind this project was to create a splash screen that is simple, beautiful, and integrated.

The loading happens in the center of the screen, fading from just a K, to a K with a border, to the full on oyxgen KDE icon.

Hope you like it. Would appreciate comments / suggestions. If you like it, please vote ++

I think you should offer both options: one as it is now and one with just the simple K.

The current splash could use some polish, however. Everything is fine until the completed icon appears. It looks as though it was cropped out of a picture, rather than using the svg icon. I don't know if this is the case. I hope you revisit this splash, because it is very well done, and I'm glad I stumbled on it.

This is really good. I wanted something nice and simple, and was bored of the same old "oxygen" layout....

Thanks :) Those were exactly my feelings. The colored K at the end was actually a last minute decision. I originally was just going to leave it as the K with the outline for simplicity.

Will upload other popular resolutions next week.
