Ubuntu Usplash GRUB Splash Screen. Inspired by the new usplash theme in Breezy. Installation: Copy the file (ubuntuusplashgrub.xpm.gz) to /boot/grub/ Then add the following line to your /boot/grub/menu.lst after the timeout section. splashimage=/boot/grub/ubuntuusplashgrub.xpm.gz

Append this to your menu.lst or grub.conf: splashimage=(hd1,1)/boot/grub/splash.xpm be sure to set the "hd1,1" to your drive number with ubuntu installed.

This .deb file will install the usplash I made for HP computers. It's inspired from some other work posted on this forum, so credits for the picture and the script that allowed the creation of the usplash go to the respective authors. I will only take credit for putting it all together!

install in /usr/share/images/xsplash with gksudo nautilus
